Disclosure: We were fortunate enough to get invited to stay at this stunning PRIVATE luxury Airbnb stay for the weekend in exchange for my honest review & opinion of the space! So anyways, let’s get started with the review!
This Airbnb stay is located in Sunshine Valley, near Hope, BC. It is a 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath House and can host up to 8 guests. Check in is super easy! They provide you with instructions on where the lock box is located to grab the key for the gate and once you get inside the gated area, you can drive to the house. The house has a keypad entry system so no key is involved. The host will provide you with the entry passcode for your stay! Every guest stay has a different passcode number so it’s 100% safe.
This house includes a full size kitchen and I was super pleased with all the essentials that were included.
They have a coffee/kettle station with tea bags, coffee & sugar on the side. They have all the cutlery, plates, bowls, paper towels, tissue, napkins, cleaning supplies, pots & pans, cooking tools, aluminum foil, plastic food wrap, parchment paper, microwave, basic seasonings like salt & pepper, cooking oil… and the list goes on.. I’m not even exaggerating! The fridge size was also big enough for us to fit everything in there, which was very nice! They also provided dishwasher pods, making it super easy to clean the dishes after each meal! ALSO, a huge bonus is that they have ICE in the freezer!
The living room area is super cozy! They even provided a blanket to use and the sofa was actually VERY comfortable to sit/sleep on! We were able to connect our Netflix on the TV to watch movies together at night while munching on snacks! They also have a few boardgames on the side but I suggest you just bring your own! They also included a wireless speaker to connect your phone with, so you can play your desired music during your stay!
We all just LOVED the high ceilings and open concept of the living room & kitchen! It was a space we used A LOT during our stay and it was the space where we played games, laughed, eat, drink and many more! It was also super peaceful to stare out into the mountains and tall trees!
We loved how this Airbnb stay includes a hot tub, a fire pit & BBQ! We legit used everything there! We used the BBQ on the first night, cooking up some delicious korean bbq meats & vegetables! We also used the fire pit to make SMORES! I haven’t had smores in ages, so it was definitely a moment to remember! We also sat out there one night to star gaze and there was a meteor shower happening! It was truly a magical night! Last but not least, we really enjoyed chilling at the hot tub and just enjoying the peace and quiet in the woods! FYI, you are not FULLY surrounded by the woods. There are other cabins/houses in the area so you are not fully secluded! But its a private gated area so its still very peaceful and quiet!
Each room was actually very spacious and the beds were comfortable to sleep on! They also provided EXTRA blankets & towels in the closets! Both washrooms were very clean and had extra towels, toilet paper, q-tip, tampons, pads, etc. They want to make sure you have everything you need! They also have a washer & dryer incase you need to do some laundry!
